At Weapons for Texans LLC, we are committed to delivering your order safely, legally, and on time. This Shipping Information Policy outlines our guidelines for shipping firearms, ammunition, accessories, and other products.
Shipping Destinations
We currently ship to physical addresses within the United States (excluding U.S. territories, P.O. boxes, and international destinations). Some items may be restricted based on state or local laws
Note: It is your responsibility to know your local laws before placing an order. Orders found to be non-compliant will be canceled.
Shipping Firearms
In compliance with federal law, all firearms must be shipped to a licensed Federal Firearms License (FFL) holder.
Requirements:
- You must be at least 21 years old (for handguns) or 18 years old (for rifles/shotguns).
- You are responsible for selecting and contacting a valid FFL dealer.
- The dealer must send us a copyof their current FFL license before we can ship your firearm.
- Firearms will not ship to your home address
Firearms orders cannot be canceled once shipped to an FFL. Returns are not accepted once the firearm is transferred.
Shipping Ammunition
Ammunition will only be shipped to states and localities where legally allowed. Adult signature (21+) may be required upon delivery.
We do not ship ammunition to:
- California (except to licensed dealers or with proper documentation)
- New York (must go to anFFL)
- Washington, D.C.
- Illinois (certain areas)
- Alaska or Hawaii
- P.O. boxes
Shipping Accessories & Gear
Accessories, optics, parts, apparel, and gear may be shipped directly to your home or business address unless prohibited by law.
Items fulfilled by third-party vendors may ship separately and arrive on different dates
Processing Times
- In-stock items: Typically ship within 1–3 business days.
- Firearms: Ship within 2–5 business days after FFL verification.
- Third-party or drop-shipped items: May take 3–7 business days or longer
Please allow additional time during holidays or major sales events.
Shipping Methods & Carriers
We ship via trusted carriers such as UPS, FedEx, and USPS. Carrier selection is based on item type, weight, location, and legal requirements. Tracking information will be provided via email once your order has shipped.Shipping Fees
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and depend on:
- Item weight and dimensions
- Shipping destination
- Required services (e.g., adult signature, insurance)
Free shipping promotions may exclude firearms, ammunition, or oversized items.
Delays, Damage & Lost Shipment
While we strive to deliver on time, we are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, or regulatory review.
If your package arrives damaged:
- Report it within 3 days of delivery
- Provide photos and packaging details
We will file a claim and work toward a resolution.
If a package is lost, contact us for assistance. Please allow up to 10 business days for investigation.
